Quaking Aspen trees are native to the Northern Range of Yellowstone National Park. The “quaking” leaves can be mesmerizing to watch and they add a tremendous amount of color to the landscape in the fall. The color, texture and shape of the bark adds to the essence of these trees. There are many qualities of aspen trees that lend themselves to being immortalized in a photographic story. This image was captured in the Mammoth Hot Springs area of Yellowstone National Park.
