Yellowstone Grizzly Bear Notecard

Quick Overview

There are three subspecies of Grizzly Bear; one that inhabits the Rocky Mountains, interior Alaska, and Canada; another found along the coast of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska; and the Kodiac Grizzly, the largest in size. Each is variable in color from blond to nearly black, with darker legs and white or blond-tipped fur on the flank and back, giving them their distinctive "grizzled" appearance. Grizzlies require a large wilderness area to survive. They normally avoid humans, but can be very dangerous when we cross paths with them. This notecard depicts an artist's rendering of the Bison commonly seen in Yellowstone. Notecard measures 7" x 5", is blank on the inside, and includes an envelope.
